Board

John Ornæs, Chairman, mining, milling and construction, 74 years old and holds a M.Sc. from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. J. Ornæs is specialized in mining and geology and has a lifelong experience from the Norwegian mining industry. Ornæs has been Mine Superintendent of Grong Gruber AS and Plant Director at Folldal verk AS, owned by Norsulfid/Outokumpu. Ornæs is, and has been, member of several company boards including Chairman of Board of Liskifer AS since 1993 and member of the Board of Rana Gruber AS in 1995-2004.

Karl-Åke Johansson, Board member, advisor , 69 years old and holds a M.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Luleå Technical University. K-Å. Johansson has 40 years relevant experience from management, mining and process engineering, project development, consulting and financing in Sweden, the US and Portugal in precious and base metals operations. Johansson has also been CEO of Lappland Goldminers AB for several years.

Kent Grahn, Board member, coordination and financing, 58 years old, holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics, HHS. K. Grahn has extensive experience from senior positions in major real estate companies. Grahn has been a larger shareholder of Lappland Goldminers AB.

Lars Egil Loe, Board member, coordination and finance, 46 years old and holds an M.Sc. in Business from Bodø Graduate School of Business and an MBA from National University of  Singapore. L. E. Loe has experience in consulting services from Accenture, as CFO in the ferro alloy, manganese melting industry and from management positions in Gexco AS. Currently Loe serves as CFO of the Norwegian MoMek Group.

Management

Exploration team

Per Samskog, B.Sc., M.Sc., Exploration Geologist and Manager of Exploration. Five years of experience working with Volcanic Massive Sulphides (VMS) and Gold in Sweden for Dragon Mining Sweden AB and Metal Mines Sweden AB. Master thesis: “Geochemical and kinematic study of shear zones within the “gold line”, Lycksele-Storuman province, northern Sweden”. Received SveMin’s Janne Kempe award for best Exploration Master thesis.

Susanne Nævermo Sand, Advisor Mine planning. 36 years old and holds a B.Sc. in Mining and Geo-technology. Sand has been working for LKAB and as mine R&D manager at Rana Gruber, and is presently consultant at Rana Utvikling AS and Chairman of Mineralklynge Nord
